I’m sure you’d agree that nobody’s perfect and we all have our quirks…
One of mine is… well, I am direction-challenged.
When we just bought our first house in New Jersey (with my now ex-husband) and I had to drive to our new home from New York City (1.5 hours), I was so nervous that as soon as I exited the highway 78 (I had the exit #), I was lost.
I mean, really lost, had NO idea how to get home and we didn’t have a GPS at that time.
So, being “very logical”, I decided to follow the majority of the cars…. I know what you might be thinking… yet that’s what I did. TRUE STORY! 
I was so lost and confused that my driving must have been so suspicious (looked like someone who is drink), and, eventually, I was stopped by the police for “careless driving.”.
When police officer asked for my driver license, I broke into tears!! I explained to him that I got lost, that it’s a very first time I am driving to my new home and I have NO idea how to get there, so… I just followed the majority of the cars…
Have you ever experienced a financial situation when you were SO lost that you’d make some really strange (dumb!) decisions, like following what other people do because you don’t have your own “money GPS”?
I know that many people make money decisions like that… following money advice from others, without any sense of discernment and clarity, because they lost their own “financial direction.”

Others feel really overwhelmed by the consumer debt they amassed over the years and are willing to trust shady “payoff your debt overnight” propositions.
Yet others are in emotional and financial shock because of unexpected divorce, so they are paying a LOT of money to unscrupulous lawyers….
These are true situations I observed with my clients….
