7 Steps to Regain Control Over Your Money: Step #3 – Pay off your debt

Do you or someone you know is dealing with a mountain of debt?

Paying off your Debt is Key #3 to regain control over your money!

    Here’s the NAKED TRUTH:

You either MASTER your Money OR get MASTERED by MONEY.

When you accumulate Consumer DEBT, YOU get MASTERED BY MONEY!

    It’s that simple.

For many people, debt becomes an addiction. Just like with drugs, getting into debt is as easy as popping a pill. And getting out of debt is just as difficult as getting rid of a drug addiction.

Consumer Debt is a form of financial addiction.

It’s the way banks and credit card companies make profit by charging you insane interest rates and getting the compound interest.

Did you know there were no credit cards until 1946 and as late as 1970 only 15% of Americans had one?

Today credit card companies send out billions of new offers each year!

The debt addiction enslaved millions of people to their lender.

Whether it’s a credit card, car loan, student loan or even a mortgage – debt has gotten out of hand for millions and millions of people!

Consumer Debt is a poison for your financial success.

You can’t leap ahead because it’s constantly chasing you down.

Consumer Debt is a poison in your personal life. It breaks you down, destroys you dreams, destroys your health, decimates your family, and leaves you broke.

It truly causes havoc in your life.

And even if you don’t have a mountain of debt right now, I want you to realize the enormity of debt addiction in people of all walks of life.

You must be wide awake if one day you face a dilemma about using Credit cards or other consumer loans to pay for something you want but don’t have money in the bank to pay for… AT THIS MOMENT.

All debt is NOT created equal.

    Wise Debut and Unwise Debt

I divide debt into 2 categories: WISE Debt and UNWISE Debt.

WISE Debt: borrowing to invest in APPRECIATING asset.

Wise Debt is often referred to as Financial Leverage.

UNWISE Debt: Borrowing for Depreciating Items

Unwise Debt is also known as Consumer Debt.

The Bottom line: ANY DEBT = RISK.

In most occasions Consumer Debt is unnecessary and often dangerous.

It’s unnecessary because there are usually gradual and less expensive ways to get what you want.

It is dangerous because it often becomes a downward spiral, a ‘catch 22’ that ruins your health, your relationships and your overall wellbeing.

And here you have the key #3 to regain control over your money.

  • This ONE Thing Could Literally Change Your Life

This ONE Thing Could Literally Change Your Life

So, the 2018 is officially over with all the successes, challenges, breakdowns, breakthroughs, changes, and transformations.

It’s a NEW YEAR, a NEW AGE and a NEW PARADIGM!

And as I heard from one spiritual guru recently, the energy of this year is “Seize the day.”

In other words, when opportunity knocks, welcome it and run with it. And if challenges get on your path – don’t panic or curse your luck. Find a way to perceive them as…opportunities in motion. Opportunities to learn, grow, and expand.

This week, I had a privilege to speak to an amazing beautiful 94 years young woman. She has this special spark and charm that is hard to describe in words… One might guess that her life was easy, joyful and fun. Yet it was anything but easy…

During the WWII, she lived under Nazi’s occupation in Lithuania, escaped, became a refugee and lived in different countries before coming to America; was divorced, remarried, then lost her second husband to cancer…

She raised two wonderful daughters as a single mom, learned how to master her money, became an investor, achieved financial independence, and became an amazing painter after leaving her professional career as a chemist.

Her house looks like an art museum… Her many paintings reflect her rocky life journey.

So, I asked her if she could distill all her experiences and wisdom into ONE thing that really matters… ONE thing that helped her overcome enormous obstacles and go through many personal challenges…what would it be?

She looked at me, smiled and said: “The only thing that truly matters is whether you’re happy inside despite your life situations…” Then added softly “I am happy inside.”

“All the time?!”- I asked with some sense of astonishment in my voice.

“NO”, she responded. “Not all the time! About 95% of the time.”

    I smiled…

Can it really be THAT simple?

Yes, I believe it can. And it’s a matter of choice.

Today you can choose to focus on problems, react to challenges in your life, compare yourself, and feel powerless and unlucky…

    OR

You can choose to focus on solutions, on what “works” in your life.

You can choose to believe that you can do anything.

You can choose to release what no longer serves you.

You can choose to accept your current life situation and thrive for better.

You can choose to love yourself just the way you are, without any need to prove anything to anyone.

You can choose to better yourself and your life through new knowledge and expanded awareness.

You can choose a new way of being.

    It does not happen overnight.

It does not happen because it is a New Year.

It happens because you consciously choose every day what you give your attention to, what thoughts you allow to dominate, what words you use, what habits you practice, what boundaries you establish, and how you re-calibrate your feelings.

Be kind and loving to YOU. At least 95% of the time. LOL!

That’s my intention for 2019 in addition to helping as many women as I can to master their money and experience more EASE, PEACE and FREEDOM.

And that’s why I have a question for you.

If you could sit down with me for a cup of coffee, what would YOU want to ask me? What top one or two questions you’d like to ask me?

Just message me or write in the comments below your questions.

P.S. I’m serious! Go ahead and message me or write in the comments below your questions. What would you ask me?

  • What Really Matters in Life and How to Write Your Dreams into Existence

What Really Matters in Life and How to Write Your Dreams into Existence

I am fortunate to live very close to the ocean and a small lake. As part of my daily self-care routine, I love taking walks on the beach or around the lake every morning.

These walks have become my walking meditation practice.

I like to pay attention to and appreciate simple things: birds having a tribe gathering, children playing in the sand, people jogging and walking, and seeing footprints get washed away by the rhythmic movements of the ocean waves.

During one of my walks, my mind zoomed in on the washed footprints on the sand, and I thought: That is a symbolic image of our lives.

We, too, leave a footprint as a proof of our existence on the physical plane. Then one day our “footprint” will be erased in an instant and we’ll return back to our Divine Source.

Suddenly, the brevity of our existence struck my awareness.

I realized that all the worries and struggles, fears and pains, physical possessions, and material achievements that we identify with are not our identity but simply passing experiences along our journey.

    Then what remains?

    What is lasting?

Love, grace, kindness, and joyful memories you share with others are the legacy that you can leave behind one day.

If you are like me – ambitious and constantly driven by new and exciting ideas and projects – you are motivated by the desire to authentically serve others with your talents and skills.

In my case, this passion and drive helped me achieve freedom and independence, and I am infinitely grateful for my life.

Yet I often push myself and multitask to the point of exhaustion.

I get caught up in busyness, which is a self-created illusion, and overlook the real priorities.

In the instant that I was watching the footprints get washed away, however, I felt that I truly want to refocus on what really matters in life, especially in the midst of busyness.

I want to focus on what makes me feel good: love, joy, grace, deep connections, and inner peace. And from THAT place, I will create my training masterpieces and make a bigger impact in the world.

Today I want to share with you a fun exercise I like to do to plan an extraordinary year and invite you to try it too.

    Create a list of

    1. Your wins – all the successful outcomes or efforts, whether tangible or immaterial. This will help you focus on your successes and expand on them.
    2. Your pains – habits, beliefs, people and experiences that I want to leave behind. Create this list, then burn it as a symbol of releasing this energy from your life.
    3. Your lessons – feedback, experiences, people and beliefs that I want to expand and bring over to the next year. We tend to repeat the lessons that we haven’t learned. Awareness of these lessons will help you get to desired goals faster.
    4. Your goals – what do you want to FEEL and EXPERIENCE, CREATE, GIVE and RECEIVE. Clarity about your desires will help your subconscious to zoom in on your goals and manifest them.

Take some time for yourself and write your dreams into existence!

    Have a magical New Year!

Until then… STAY IN YOUR POWER!

  • Empowering Money Habits: Align, Save, Spend

Empowering Money Habits: Align, Save, Spend

I just finished my “Activate Your Power to Prosper” live event in Provence last weekend and still feel “intoxicated” by the experience. I must say it was MAGICAL. From the open-air training area, the prosperity walks, wealth swim (LOL), morning yoga to ending the evening with a humbling meditation.

We shared and LIVED our A-Ha moments, insights, a few (actually many) laughs and connected our hearts deeply.

I feel sooo full right now!

And from that place of fullness, I want to talk to you about… SPENDING and SAVING.

“How can I keep putting money aside/saving money without feeling like I’m saving for the “rainy day”? Without having a sense of scarcity?”

I was asked this question recently and that’s what I want to talk to you about today.

Let’s look at the DECISIONS TO SPEND AND SAVE MONEY from a pure practical perspective (not spiritual one).

In the mini-training video “4 Essentials of Wealth Pathway”, I shared with you the important elements that must be present.

One of the elements wasKEEP MONEYIn other words, allocate a portion of your income toward your savings. It’s a VERY important element of building wealth and becoming financially independent.

However, many people who are good at “saving money”, put money away from a place of fear and lack… They hoard money just like some people hoard cloth and food.

And you know what happens when you make decisions from the place of fear, right? You realize your fears!

So, what needs to happen for you to spend less and save more from a place of “enough-ness”?

YOU’VE GOT TO ALIGN YOUR MONEY DECISIONS WITH YOUR CORE VALUES.

If one of your core values is FREEDOM – to be able to have more CHOICES in your life – then when you decide to save money, you can imagine that these savings will help you get closer to your goal of becoming financially free. The process of saving becomes fueled by the desire to be free.

Please watch this video below if you are a committed individual with a vision to live your best life, financially free.

  • Looking For a Shortcut to Success? Here Is What I Discovered!

Looking For a Shortcut to Success? Here Is What I Discovered!

“Perhaps the oldest working  truth of self-discovery is that the only way out is through. That we are returned repeatedly to the same circumstance is not always a sign of avoidance, but can mean our work around a certain issue is not done.” ~ Mark Nepo

Would you like to get a shortcut, a straight line to success and happiness in life?

Wouldn’t it be nice to just get such secret remedy and skip all the pain, doubts, struggles and learning curves?

    It would be, right?

Unfortunately, there is no such secret remedy. Life is about growth and expansion and most of your growth as a spiritual being occurs when you experience challenges, uncover your true priorities and values, and discover the most important relationship in your life – relationship with your SELF.

I know so many amazingly talented, intelligent and really wonderful people – men and women – who, at some point in their lives, felt lost, confused and experienced what I call a Divine crisis.

It’s an interesting phenomenon when suddenly your heart, body, mind and soul get completely out of sync.

Somehow the harmony that you experienced as a child, when everything felt exciting and possible, fades away and your body, heart, mind and spirit create a cacophony effect that you may experience as a painful struggle, self-judgement, uncertainty, and loss of direction.

I experienced this effect in my own life and witnessed it in people of different age groups from all walks of life. Many of them appeared to be quite successful and had no apparent reason to experience such crisis.

Sadly, when you go through the Divine crisis, it doesn’t really matter that you have people who love and support you, that you are smart and accomplished, that you have so many things to be grateful for.

It feels like some unknown strong forces create havoc in your inner world and all the repressed emotions, self-doubts, judgements, and fears suddenly come together in a perfect storm with you in the middle of it.

For some women I know such experience coincided with (or was triggered by?) a breakdown of important relationships, loss of loved ones, or dealing with cancer. Others experienced such Divine crisis after losing a job, going through financial ruins or feeling stuck in their current career. Yet others didn’t have any apparent triggers, it simply happened…

So what’s underneath of it? Why are you subjected to such experience?

I have come to believe that we are destined to live more authentically – either by erosion of external circumstances or by inner discomfort.

Most of us are so achievement-driven and unconsciously competitive that the illusion of external success and happiness becomes the driving force.

This force ultimately leads us to doing more, having more and not giving enough space for being more. Yes, we chase after things that we believe can ‘complete us’ while missing out on simple miracles that surround us and are part of our everyday life – music, flowers, children’s laugh, sunrises and sunsets…

I am writing this as someone who herself experienced such Divine crisis. My friends and loved ones couldn’t understand fully what was ‘wrong’ with me – I was young, smart, healthy and successful (in modern cultural terms).

Yet inside I felt unease, confusion and guilt. I couldn’t understand why I was experiencing these emotions, why I felt so lost after so many achievements.

My body, heart, mind and spirit were out of harmony and no external forces were able to ‘fix me’ – I needed to go through the motion of unfolding my way to authentic living.

I’ve realized that there is no ‘success formula’ I could apply to shorten this unfolding – I had to learn how to SURRENDER TO MY TRUTH.

I had to allow myself to experience the deeper side of me, to FEEL the sadness, disappointments, losses, and doubts. I had to allow fear of uncertainty to burn itself out and just to stay open to all my experiences.

During this time I, a notorious multi-tasker, had to take time off and get still to heal from inside.

It was a truly humbling experience… It made me more compassionate toward myself and others, more aware of my inner power, and more appreciative of the inherent joy of simple things in life.

If you go through the Divine crisis that resembles anything like I described here, I invite you to allow yourself time and space to go through its motion without rushing, or pushing, or judging. Make time to get still, scan your body and determine where exactly you experience your deeply covered emotions.

Bring these emotions to your awareness. Don’t suppress your feelings, experience them without trying to label, judge or change them.

Finally, when you feel ready, send grace and unconditional love to the area of your body that stores these feelings. Keep going through this self-healing process as long as you need to.

You may be called to go through this experience longer than you’d like to…

It may take a while, it may not happen as rapidly as you would want it to pass.

Don’t get discouraged – you will get to the point where your perspective will shift to a softer, more loving and resilient outlook and you will again experience the inner harmony and joy of living and creating.

The experience of Divine crisis made me realize that our most challenging and painful experiences become our best credentials for helping others.

Yes, I know that my business acumen, investing experience and degrees in physics and business administration are important credentials.

Yet it is my experience of Divine crisis that felt like a deadly roller coaster the first time, made me more compassionate, loving and humble.

It also helped me realize my purpose – helping entrepreneurial women release their inner blocks, manage money effectively and invest strategically so that they too develop their unique pathway to Freedom!

  • Your Path To Financial Freedom: Where Do You Start?

Your Path To Financial Freedom: Where Do You Start?

There are tons of books and seminars these days about abundance because it’s a “hot topic” now. Everybody wants it, everybody likes to talk about it.

But what does abundance mean to you?

Luxurious houses, expensive cars, designer clothes, exquisite jewelry?

Or maybe for you it means having the freedom to choose how to spend your time and live your life?

Whatever it is, I invite you to define it for yourself if you want to experience it one day.

Many of us were raised with limiting beliefs’ programming. This external conditioning implies that you are confined to a certain level of possibilities in your life that is restricted by things like your parents’ social status, your race, religion, education, country of origin, etc.

It is often so deeply ingrained in our minds that we often sabotage ourselves and have no idea that we have these “blind spots”! It’s really hard to think and live wealthy when your perception of what’s possible for you is defined by your past, or your current challenges, or others’ opinions.

The good news is that it’s a complete and shameful lie.

    You are powerful by design.

You are only limited by your own imagination and beliefs’ system.

You and only you can make the decision to live your best life, to experience abundance and joy or… to complain and compare yourself with others who seem to have everything that you would like to have. Yes, it’s a matter of choice. (more…)
